 Call for Applications – Make Your Voice Heard at the UN!
The United Nations Voluntary Fund for Indigenous Peoples** invites Indigenous representatives to apply for support to attend the 19th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the CRPD.
 New York, USA
 9–11 June 2026
 Deadline: 28 February 2026
This is a unique opportunity to engage directly at the United Nations and advance advocacy for the rights of Indigenous Peoples with disabilities under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
 Who Can Apply?
Indigenous individuals and representatives who:
 • Are actively promoting and protecting Indigenous rights, particularly the rights of Indigenous persons with disabilities.
 • Can clearly demonstrate how their participation will strengthen advocacy for their communities.
 • Require financial support for travel, accommodation, and related expenses.
 Applications from LGBTIQ+ persons and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged!
 Selection Criteria
Applications will be assessed based on:
 Representation – Clear mandate from your Indigenous community or organization
 Relevance – Active engagement in human rights issues affecting Indigenous Peoples with disabilities
 Impact – Potential to strengthen advocacy and policy influence
 Need – Financial need and lack of alternative funding sources
