📢 Call for inputs | Environmental human rights defenders (EHRDs) and the human right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment.

🌎 ALL INVITED to send your inputs for the 6th report.

This report aims to outline the obligations of States and non-State actors, under international law and human rights law, to protect EHRDs, contributing to the understanding of the situation of EHRDs from an individual and a collective perspective. The report will provide concrete recommendations to States and other stakeholders to ensure the protection EHRDs.

Key topics will be:

1.    Regarding the situation of Environmental Human Rights Defenders (specific risks, use of legal measures against their work, kinds of impacts and factors that worsen their situation)

2.    Policies, legislation and other existing measures of State and non-State actors for the protection of EHRDs

3.    Other effective measures for protecting Environmental Human Rights Defenders
